The Morgan Quarter Art Project 2016

Have you got what it takes to be our first ever winner of this exciting new project?

Design a series of decorative panels celebrating the Morgan Quarter and its place in Cardiff’s City Centre and you could find your work on public display within the arcades .

The Project

To design a series of decorative panels celebrating the Morgan Quarter and its place in Cardiff’s City Centre. The site for the panels is situated in Tabernacle Lane in the Morgan Quarter.

Entries should be submitted via the Morgan Quarter website by 4th November 2016.

Designs can be in any medium and produced at any size but must be capable of being reproduced (enlarged / reduced) at a panel size to suit the site dimensions.

Entries should include a description of the medium used and up to 100 words explaining your concept / theme. Entries must be submitted digitally with a maximum file size of 5mb.

A shortlist of 10 entries will be reproduced and displayed at the judging event which will be held at The Oak Room, The Morgan Quarter on Thursday 10th November from 6 - 8pm.

Shortlisted entrants will be invited, along with a guest, to the event where the winner will be announced by the judging panel. The winning entry will be reproduced on acrylic panels at an agreed size and will be displayed in Tabernacle Lane, The Morgan Quarter for a minimum of 12 months. The artist will be credited on the piece.
